The end

Polyurethane stool / sculpture THE END 1516 by Gufram    Hrothgar’s brother, Halga, has just been murdered. Leaving Halga’s fourteen-year-old son, Hrothulf, to fend for himself. So, the little dumb human comes to live at Hart with his uncle. By this time, Hrothgar and Wealtheow have now had two sons of their own. Hrothulf, though polite, is sullen and withdrawn. Mostly due to his great loss, but it concerns Hrothgar, I can tell by his more worrisome face. But I could care less if he is worried or not. Hrothgar tries to attribute the boy’s  trauma of losing his father, but he also suspects that the boy may be plotting against him. It is basically just a waiting game for Hrothgar its like being "chained in a cave, staring at the entrance"(122). He does not know whats to come for him.
Soon after getting this gut feeling it was exposed that, Hrothulf started talking to this odd old man. At first, I just thought he was random old man, until he began to consume the boy's mind with the ideas of a revolution. He also filled his head with thoughts to change the gap between rich and poor and make it almost nonexistent. He wants to stop Hrothgar's unfair fair views like when he stated "Shall I call the tree tyrannical, since where it stands nothing survives but itself and its highborn guests"( 115). Which basically expresses how unfair Hrothgar's system is for all the people. But i cannot stop thinking about this man, he just seems  familiar in some way. It feels as if I have known him or heard him speak among the other men before. He also seems to have a wiser side than he lets on to all the other men. In over just a short year Hrothulf has gone from simple ideas of a revolution. To having a strong course of action and it is all thanks to this add man that he has been speaking to.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0GFRcFm-aY

Distraction

Wealtheow2-1- This is now a war that will never stop. I just keep destroying Hrothgar's kingdom and troops. But I could honestly kill all my enemies in one night alone. It would be so simple and easy for me to take them about. They probably wouldn't even notice, because of how quickly I could do this small task. However, I then remember the dragon told me that "my enemies define themselves on me," so I can't just kill them all(91). If I killed them all then I would lose my purpose in life. I would basically have nothing to do like ever. Or at least I don't think I would personally. Wow, all this thinking has got me distracted, I am not enjoying it.
Thinking is not the only think that has me distracted, Wealtheow, who is a woman that has distracted me most recently. she is the brother of Hygmod, a new king that has now created a truce with Hrothgar. Let me give you the whole story of how this beautiful creature fell into my life. So, one night I simply spying around the mead hall per usual. However, this time the men were no were in sight, I was very confused. But I found foot prints and heard people talking, so I followed and found the men that encounter me on the daily. But there was other people there, I had never seen them before but they were trying to talk Hrothgar into a truce. But for some reason the man just wouldn't do it. He thought it was a lie and that they would steal and cause havoc once in the mead hall. Which I really can't blame him for, they are so stupid and helpless, anyone could ruin them with a small amount of force. But then he brings out the most gracious treasure ever to win Hrothgar over, his beautiful sister. I don't know what drew me to her so much "but she was [just] beautiful"(100).  But I didn't stay any longer, I had to leave. And each day when I went to attack the mead hall I couldn't do it, not with Wealtheow there.
Nevertheless, I would still go and spy on the mead hall and see what was happening. The shaper came back and sung songs for everyone in the hall. While listening to the shaper I would see the beautiful girl and just admire her from a far. But even when I wasn't looking at her I could see her, I could feel her, she consumed every sense and though within my mind. It was driving me insane, it had to stop, I can't handle it any longer. The only way I could get her to leave was by killing her in the most horrific way. So, I set on my journey and swiped her up from the meadhall. I was just about to rip her to shreds and then I saw her bare body. She was just the same as every human, yes she may be beautiful but she is just like all the others. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFkzRNyygfk

The Dragon and Unferth

Unferth's Ultimate Nemesis by RetroOutro   Hello everyone, I am back to update you weird beings on my most recent affairs. Most recently, I have personally met the most horrific creature in all the worlds, it was the dragon. He gave me the ability to be extremely stealthy. I am basically unseen and unheard whenever I am sneaking around the mead hall. At first it was amazing, the ugly human beings had even less of a chance against me. But now the killing is just simply too boring, there is no longer any fun within my late night attacks. So, I decided to play with one man named Unferth. Ha, just thinking of this pathetic man brings a wicked smile to my face. He challenged to a battle of the death, it was quite silly, the man had no chance. However, I decided that a little insult wouldn't hurt anyone so I told him "Let me tell them I was sent by a sideways walker"(83). Unferth was actually walking side to side feet away from, still think that he would kill me and become a hero, it was too good of a situation to pass up on. So, I had a little more fun and threw some apples at him and didn't even let him get close enough to fight. The pathetic man even trip over one and brought injury upon himself. After all that was over, I decided to go home and leave the man with embarrassment and misery.
Then after three days of glorious sleep and relaxation, I was awoken to Unferth crawling on the floor attempting to get me to fight him. He told me "only you and I and God will know the truth . That is inner heroism"(88). Ahhh, so he had come to prove he is a true hero I thought. Well I was not going to let him achieve this ridiculous goal. He was already bleeding, bruised, and exhausted. The journey to my home is not an easy task for humans. I humored him for a few minutes and mocked him, told him the truth about heros and what they truly mean. However, after a while of just speaking he insisted for a battle of some sort to prove he was a hero still. I just wouldn't allow this to happen, so, I waited till the weak man fell asleep. After he was in deep slumber, I carried him back to the mead hall and left him outside. Even though I sparred his life, doesn't mean I have gone soft or grown a liking to humans. To make sure this was known I ate the guards standing outside the hall so no one would ever know. Bye everyone, I will update you on more later.
